Somone suggested that Apple Blossom would also make a great blush. I've been looking for a pale cool pink blush, so I'm going to try that out today. Also I got a bottle of clear nail polish and I'm going to mix some of Love Song in it to see how that works. It should make a gorgeous fall color. If all goes well I'll show you how it turned out.

I redid these two over NYX's jumbo e/s pencil Yogurt so you could see how they look over a tacky base. These would be nice pressed over eyeliner.

oooooooooooooooooo very pretty!
ooh, very pretty!
how well do these micas "stick" applied straight? i was going to order some matte texture base, or whatever, which is what some people mix it with to create an eyeshadow?
do they stick well just alone? cause if they do, i just might not get the texture base, lol.
i still do want to get black mica though, and create blackened versions of some of those colors. *drools imagining*
Over a primer they stick just fine on their own. The ones I got don't need to be mixed with anything, they can be used as is. I think mostly the matte ones need to be mixed with something.
what did you use under the swatch? just nyx jumbo eye pencils was there something else you used? I got some but by itself..it doesn't stick at all..
Jen I used Urban Decay Primer Potion. I only used the NYX pencil under the last two swatches.
Cyprus Green, Love Song & Totally Teal are so pretty !
nice haul : )
If the nail polish ends up being too much of a jelly (kind of translucenty, jellyish finish. :D)
then you can add black to make it more opaque. or white. :D
