NOTD: Passionate Purple + Hidden Treasure

I've been wanting to wear Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure over a purple since I first started seeing photos of it. This combination is amazing, its 2 coats of Finger Paint's Passionate Purple and 1 coat of Hidden Treasure. When the flakes are red its kind of sassy/sexy and when they are green it makes me want to cackle like a witch on Halloween. All sorts of fun is to be had with Hidden Treasure. Like the name suggest its rather hard to find and LE, but there are at least three other dupes, from Nubar (2010), Nfu Oh (fabuloustreet.com, #38), and GOSH (Rainbow) for the Canada/UK ladies. Hidden Treasure has mostly been found at Walgreens and Walmart for those who want to try to track it down.

NOTD: LA Girl Funkadelic + SH Spectrum

For this NOTD I am wearing 2 coats of LA Girls Funkadelic from their Disco collection, which I've found at 2 small clothing stores and cherryculture.com, and 1 coat of Sally Hansen's Spectrum from their new HD collection. Spectrum has a turquoise base with tons of blue sparkles and a little bit of pink sparkles which the second picture sort of shows. I really want more of the HD collection, but I have to wait until they are on sale since they run $5-6 at the drugstore.

Hidden Treasure Swatches

I got my greedy hands on Hidden Treasure this morning, which is from Sally Hansen's newest summer collection. Its a clear base with flakes that shift to green, yellow, and orange. Its said to be very similar to GOSH's flakie and Nfu Ohs 38. I know everyone will be swatching it over black so I chose some different colors. You have to get this one.

Valentine's Day Mani Suggestions

Valentine's Day is coming up, so here are some pinks and reds you might consider wearing on this holiday.




Sally Hansen Shell We Dance. Sheer milky pink jelly, pretty if you want a soft mani. Get it anywhere that sells Sally Hansen.

China Glaze Pure Elegance. Soft pearly pink. You can get this at Sally's or at http://www.transdesign.com/

Jordana Pink Shock. Soft pink jelly. You can find this at many mom & pop dollar or beauty supply stores for $1-$2.

Misa First Kiss. Maybe you'll get lucky wearing this pink/purple shimmery color. Get this at http://www.transdesign.com/ or other etailers.

Color Club Electro Candy. Neon hot pink, no fucshia like the photo shows just a neutral hot pink. Get this at http://www.transdesign.com/ or other etailers.

Jordana Pink Voltage. Dark raspberry pink jelly with a cool pink shimmer. Check our your local dollar stores to find this brand.

China Glaze Raspberry Festival. Red glass fleck shimmer. Get this at http://www.transdesign.com/ or other etailers.

China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Blood red jelly with red glitter. Very hot. Get it at Sally's or an etailer.

Sally Hansen n/p haul & swatches: Lime Lights, Violet Sparks, Mellow Yellow

Walgreens has SH nail stuff 40% off this week so I got these colors that I had been wanting. They are about $3 originally.

Lime Lights, 4 coats but it looks the same as 3. In most lighting its totally lime like you see on the middle of my nails.



Violet Sparks, 4 coats. The bubbles are my fault, not the np's.



Mellow Yellow, 3 coats. In the bottle it looks green but when you put it on its almost a banana yellow. Very pretty and smooth (when left over glitter in my SV doesn't mess it up *grumbles*)
