Small haul from About Face/TheSheSpace.com

I put in just a small order a few weeks ago and got my package Saturday, so here is what I got!

I can't wait to try Pushing Daisies, it looks so pretty!

These are meant to be added to other pigments. At first I was a little confused when I saw these because they were just white sparkles, but when you put them against a dark background you can see the colors. I have no clue what to put these in.

This is not one of the regular colors, this was just a free pigment from Heather to make up for the long processing and shipping time.

Cashmere Stockings is a finishing powder meant to really give your skin a soft glow, I haven't used it yet because I'm waiting for my skin to heal. I used something that made me breakout pretty badly two weeks ago and I am still getting new (but thankfully smaller) breakouts right now. Will review once I give this a go.

Eyeliner Duo

Both of these brushes are soft, but the bristles are firm and are great for lining under the bottom lashes. Even the larger one is easy to use for lining. I get the color out of the brushes by washing them with hot water. My only complant is that it would have been better if one of the brushes were angled.



Crease Brush Duo

I loooooooove these little brushes! The larger one is fantastic for the crease. Its very soft and densly packed. Its great at color placement control, and it doesn't leave a harse line that you have to blend out, the lines from this are pretty soft. You can also use this to blend eye shadow. There were only 2 bristles that shed after I washed this. The smaller of these brushes is similar to the MAC 219 pencil brush (which I haven't used, just going by what I've seen in other videos and photos). So far I've only used it to apply e/s under my bottom lashes and its really nice. I don't yet know how this works in the crease.



Concealer Duo

These are typical concealer brushes. They are soft with firm bristles and don't shed. I don't even have concealer so I don't quite remember why I got these but they are nice. The larger can be used for foiling eye shadow.



Touch Up Brush

This is a very soft brush that can be used for applying powder around the nose or other small areas, touching up concealer, and can also be used to apply eye shadow. It does NOT do well applying wet eye shadow, but I love it for applying them dry! I've given it a few rough washings and it hasn't shed but a few of the hairs have kind of gone off in different directions. To clean this you need hot water to get the color out of the white hair. If/When I order from POSH again I would probably get another one of these brushes as long as the bristles don't start to go wonky.

Sonia Kashuk Blush Brush (HG) & unknown Kabuki brush. I don't have any other face brushes. I use the kabuki to apply Fyrinnae's Rice Primer and to blend blush.

Strangly Tea Rose is not rose at all when on my lips but swatched its dark.

Notes: Paris looks like a darkish pink but goes on much lighter, Narcissus is seriously brighter then bubble gum pink, I tried to edit the color in photoshop but they didn't even have it. Everything else is pretty much spot on except Margerita is a little bit lighter.

UDPP gets cut.

It was getting hard to get any product out of my bottle of UDPP so I figured it was time to cut the sucker open. I've been using it for about 10 months, and I took out the stopper (the plastic bit in the opening that keeps you from taking out too much) 6 months ago. If you do this make sure you put it in a GLASS jar, it'll dry out in a plastic one (this is why MAC and such use glass).


It kind of looks like two crazy eyes are starring at you... O_0

NYX Round Lip Gloss!

I hear Angels singing!

Why? Because NYX just came out with a new lip gloss and it looks divine!

NYX girls new lip gloss. 36 pretty new shades to highlight that sexy pucker of yours. Feels silky smooth, long lasting, and the color in the bottle is the color on.

These were just released on the NYX website, so I haven't tried any of them but I will try to get my hands on them as soon as possible (I just spend $140 on mu and clothes this week, so its not going to be any time soon lol). They are priced at $3.00

I'd like to try some of these shades: Golden Red, Sparkle, Peach, Strawberry, Apricot (lol I am going to go dig some fruit out of the fridge soon here), Kiss, Soap Opera Queen, and Ballerina Pink.

Super cute Forever 21 tops!

I went to Forever 21 this morning (I'll be moving in any day now) and found 3 really cute tops for practically nothing. The first two were the ONLY ones in the store, and I got them (muahahaha!). I was going to order these online anyways but the F21 website doesn't seem to have all the colors up. The third shirt I was going to order online too, I like not having to wait for it to come in the mail though. I've got plenty of other stuff to get online anyways (like more of those $12 jeans, SO COMPFY!).

L'Oreal De Crease vs. Urban Decay Primer Potion

It took me ages, but I finally got around to trying out L'Oreal's De Crease eye primer against Urban Decay's Primer Potion. I had De Crease for a long time before UDPP but I stopped using it because I couldn't get any more product out of the tube, even though you can clearly see that it looks full. However I think that maybe they put some kind of filler between the outside and actual product, but I'm not possitive.

Anyways, I used both primers at the same time and UDPP clearly won. De Crease starting creasing after just 4 hours, and UDPP didn't start creasing until after 7-8 hours. Eight hours still sucks, so usually I put pressed powder over UDPP and it'll last another 3-4 hours for me but I didn't this time.

5 hours later and I've got a little creasing on the De Crease side but the UDPP side is still looking good

MAC & NYX hauls

On Friday I went and checked out MAC's Cool Heat collection. All the eye shadows were gorgeous but I only bought Cool Heat. I was going to get Blue Flame and Gulf Stream but BF is almost identicle to Deep Truth and Gulf Stream is very similar to NYX Wild Fire. Climate Blue looked like it was going to be a really pretty purple but when I swatched it it was a kind of chalky dark blue.

Then I stopped by the shoe store that had the NYX on sale. I got two more trios and October Sky single e/s. I swatches the two trios, along with the two I had before. These are done over a NYX jumbo e/s pencil which is tackier then UDPP so the e/s has better pigment. Some of these are more sheer over just UDPP.

Avon glazewear lipsticks are my favorite lipsticks. They give semi-sheer color with a bit of shine. Some are more sheer then others, but most of them have a good color payoff. They aren't sticky or heavy, and there is a light fruity scent. There is no smell once you have it on, and it taste kind of sweet but it’s not strong. I've had the color and the shine last 6+ hours. They can come off when you eat, but I don't have a problem with drinking and I have gotten through a few meals with the lipstick staying on.

Because the formula is a little thick I like to have chap stick or lip balm under, I think it applies better that way and you don’t need to put as much on, thus you do not use up the product as quickly.

What is really nice is that these are a cheaper alternative to MAC’s slimshine lipsticks. Even at full price these are half as expensive as MAC’s. Avon doesn’t have as nice a color selection, I wish they had more pinks, but there are still some really nice colors. You just have to be careful with the online and catalog swatches, they turn out to be misleading. Avon has a great return policy though, so I guess that helps with that if you get a color you don't like. And I have swatches right here too.

The only thing I don't like about them is that they are so slim, there isn't a ton of product in the tube so I imagine I'll have to be re buying these a lot more often then any other lipsticks. These are $8 but I will only get them on sale because of how small they are.

Definitely try these out!

Avon & NYX haul

I got soo lucky today! I went to Forever 21 looking for this dress, they didn't have it but they did have their Brillant Buy $12.50 skinny jeans and they had tones of them. Usually they only have a small pile but they had a couple shelves full. I never got them before because they would never have any sizes over 28 and usually I'm a 29 (aka 5/6) in Forever 21 jeans but when I tried those on they were too big so I got the smaller size. I don't think I shrunk I just think those particular jeans run big. Anyways, I got those jeans for really cheap and I'm happy about that.

Then after Forever 21 I headed to the MAC counter, and I passed by a shoe store that carries a selection of NYX single eye shadows. I wasn't planning of buying any, I just like looking at them because this store only had the really bright pretty ones. Then I saw a basket on the bottom shelf with a bunch of NYX trios and a sign with 50% OFF CLEARANCE and I just about wet myself. So I grabbed only 4 trios expecting them to be around $3.50 (there wasnt a price anywhere) each but they were only $2.50 (and I almost wet myself again). On Friday I am totally going back to get what ever colors are left (if there are any left).






Just to show, the single e/s Ocean is the same as the trio Ocean (but this one is a tiny bit greener).


And last but not least my Avon haul which took its sweet time coming. I got a purple & green eyeliner, Classic Rose & Ravishing Red lipsticks, straightning balm, and curl refreshing spray.
