Sally Hansen n/p haul & swatches: Lime Lights, Violet Sparks, Mellow Yellow

Walgreens has SH nail stuff 40% off this week so I got these colors that I had been wanting. They are about $3 originally.

Lime Lights, 4 coats but it looks the same as 3. In most lighting its totally lime like you see on the middle of my nails.

Violet Sparks, 4 coats. The bubbles are my fault, not the np's.

Mellow Yellow, 3 coats. In the bottle it looks green but when you put it on its almost a banana yellow. Very pretty and smooth (when left over glitter in my SV doesn't mess it up *grumbles*)

Small Forever 21 Haul & NOTD

Spring clothes are starting to come out, and I got suckered into buying this adorable coral top, even though I had vowed not to buy more clothes after my birthday. Then I went and ordered even more clothes from Forever 21 online, those should be here in a few days.

This was $16, I also ordered it in white. Perfect spring/summer top.

These headbands came in a pack of two for $1.50. I also ordered black & grey.

And here's my nails of the day. I'm wearing Sally Girl Luv It. This is 4 coats. I love this color because in different lights it can be smoky blue/purple, blue, or blue/teal. LOOOOOOOOOVE!!

Sally Hansen & NYC now Cruelty Free!

Today I was looking at a Sally Hansen product, and I noticed on the side of the box that is said "not tested on animals". Then I looked at some NYC products that were next to the SH display and one of the boxes said that too. This makes me so happy! I believe they use to test on animals so I haven't bought from them the last two years.

I double checked their websites to make sure, here's where they say they don't test: Sally Hansen & NYC.

I've updated my Animal Tester/Cruelty Free brands list, which you can see HERE.

What, MORE nail polish? Yeah, 'cause I had coupons!

I have been on a huge nail polish binge the last few weeks. I think I've bought 23 new polishes since January. I'm totally slowing down though, because I don't need that many new colors. Right? Right! I mean, I'm just going to get a few more, because Sally's has the Chine Glaze $1 off coupons, and I think Clair's is having a BOGO 1/2 off sale or something, and I need a few of their glitters and stuff. But thats totally it for this month. I hope. Um, yeah...

So! I got all these for a whopping $6.59. I had a $5 coupon, and the $1 off China Glaze coupon, plus for the Sally Girl nail polishes Sally's has a B5G1F coupon. Plus I have the Sally's discount card which rocks. In total I saved $7.89!

This color is so gorgeous! I loooove it.
This is a really pretty purple but it took about 7 coats, lol.

Cherryculture Haul: NYX & Sinful Colors + NOTD

I got a really great package from CherryCulture yesterday!

I got some NYX round lip glosses. You know how they use to smell like lemon air freshener? Now they smell like SHERBERT ICE CREAM!!!! (not too strongly though) And they fixed the stopper so it doesn't come out.

All these colors are so gorgeous!

I got some more Sinful Colors nail polish. I am becoming obsessed with these. I am a little sad because on the CherryCulture website it said Hypnotizing Trend was called Katrina, and I wanted it because thats my name. The number on the sticker & CC is the same so I'm pretty sure its not a mistake which the actual color.

I couldn't wait to try out this color.

& here I put on a few of the NYX hearts

Nail's Of The Day: China Glaze Flying Dragon

I really thought this color was going to be amazing because in the bottle its a gorgeous purple with blue & fucshia glitter, but when I put it on I was not impressed. The glitter isn't really glitter in the sense that it doesn't reflect light or change color at all. Its just flat and you can't really see it unless you are upclose. Also without a top coat its not shiny at all. I think with some other sparkly color layered over it it could be great, but I think with a brand like China Glaze you shouldn't have to resort to that.

In this photo you can see the glitter but its not this impressive in person.
