Theshespace & Fyrinnae Swatches

I finally got swatches done for my latest shespace haul & I did some of all the Fyrinnae pigments I have. I'm also including short reviews and color descriptions of each pigment.

Bright Outlook: Cheerful shimmery pale yellow/orange. Soft but vibrant.
Aphrodite Screams: Shimmery true orange.
No Scruples: Bright purple with hot pink sparkles. One of my top favorites.
Far Too Fabulous: Dark royal blue, a little darker then the swatch looks.
Born A Savage: Dark navy blue. Not my favorite, hard to use unless wet.
Blaim The Rain: Soft lime green with a kick. Goes with a lot of colors.
Chasing Mystery: Soft teal/blue/green/grey. Swatch doesn't do justice.
Swim With The Fishes: One of my top 5's. Gorgeous aqua/teal.
Moral Enemy: Fantastic almost emerald/grass green. Love love love.
Art Of Noise: Dark sparkly green, not brown like the swatch shows.

Rapunzel Had Extensions: Soft coral with gold. Lovely color.
Melty: Warm pink. Really pretty.
Shallow Sleep: Great bright blue with hint of aqua.
Dragon Tears: Not at all like Fyrinnae's website shows, dark blue. Kinda crappy quality, have to use it wet or else it just doesn't stick.
Embrace: Also not anything like the Fyrinnae swatch, this is a dark almost matte teal. Not very impressive.
Japan: Similar to Embrace but greener.
Equality: Sparkly silver taupe. Really nice color.
Newcastle: This gets a lot of love but I don't like it. Looks like dirt from my back yard with glitter.
Leif: Great bright apple green, I love this one.
Dragon's Wing: Almost matte soft green.
Dragonskin: Green with gold tones, shimmery and very pretty.
Njordr: Dark forest green with silver sparkles.

I did just place another Fyrinnae order yesterday, so I should have more swatches in two or three weeks.

Cute new Gym tops.

So I've been going to the gym again for the last month, and to make up for the sweating and panting and general grossness that comes from working out I decided that I need some cute new gym clothes to balance things out. I originally went to Target to find some new pants as my black ones have the elastic fraying in the butt and crotch (I don't understand why this is or why I feel the need to share), but they didn't have any. I did notice some cute spots bras and tanks on clearance though so I grabbed what I could. I got two tanks ($8) and two bra thingys ($5). They are very comfortable and not too hot. I may just wear them on non gym days too cause they look pretty cute.

Me fresh from the gym with almost no make up.

Major SheSpace haul, I am in Love.

No swatches, the mail came way late and there isn't the greatest light atm & I have no energy. Those will come on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

My favs from this batch are No Scruples (I almost didn't get this, omg its ++ more amazing in person then photo), Fatal Glamour (almost didn't get this either, thought I wouldn't like it but I loooove it), and Cursed With Charisma. I can't wait to use these!

Review: My Holy Grails

Red Gloss: Avon Glazewear lip gloss in Ruby Slippers. In the catalog the swatch is bright sparkly red, and it looks that way in the tube but its actually very sheer. It just gives a hint of red with soft sparkles. I like wearing this with bright eyes, as it gives my lips enough color without being too over the top. This also is great on days when I just want a nude lip. The gloss is thick but not too sticky. There is no scent. This cost just $6 but is half off more often then not.

Red Lipstick: NYX Round Lipstick in Snow White. The color is just how it sounds, Snow White red. It is completely matte, no shimmer or sparkle. If you want a bit of shine just put a dab of clear gloss over it. Very pigmented, last a long time. I don't find it to be drying, everything eventually makes my lips peel and this doesn't do it too much. If I was going to have a hot prince wake me up from a dead sleep, this is what I'd want to be wearing too. Just don't eat any apples before hand cause it'll probably come of. Perhaps the best part is that this is just $1 at and I've found it in 4 different small beauty/hair supply stores around me.

Pink Lipstick: Wet N Wild, 517 Russian Tea Rose. This is a matte dark rose pink lipstick. It is very pigmented but I wear it lightly so it looks like a lighter pink. Its moisturizing and goes on smoothly. The lasting quality is great, there isn't much fading or moving. This is also just $1 at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, and anywhere else that has Wet N Wild.

Nude Lipstick: Avon Glazewear lipstick in Nude Attitude. I was planning on buying tons of different nude lipsticks, but once I got this one I didn't feel any need to buy more. Its a lovely sheer matte nude pink, it has just a little bit of shine. The formula is nice and light weight. There is a slight smell if you put the tube right under your nose but you can't smell anything when you wear it. This is $8 at but it goes on sale pretty often. There is only about half the amount of product in the glazewear lipsticks compared to regular ones so I would only buy it on sale because its not going to last as long. Other then that, I don't have anything bad to say about this product.

Blushes: Jane Blushing Blossom & Blushing Earth Sheer. 1)Blushing Blossom is a perfect light pink. It goes on smoothly and is easy to blend. It has no shimmer. Its got great lasting power. You only need a little bit to get good color. 2)Blushing Earth Sheer is a hot pot of gorgeous peachy coraly goodness! I can't even begin to describe how beautiful this blush it. There is a very fine shimmer, but its not very noticable when you're wearing it. This goes on sheer but is buildable. I just get a lovely glow when wearing this. Its easy to blend and last all day on my oily skin. Jane blushes are only $4 at Walgreens, Rite Aid, and some Walmarts. Almost everyweek at least one of those places has it BOGO too.

Eye Detail Brush: It took me ages to discover this, and I'm so glad I finally did! Sonia Kashuk's Smudge Brush is wonderful. I don't strictly use this for smudging, but its great for over all blending and very precise smudging. Mostly I use this for eye shadow application. Its great for the inner corners of the eye, the crease, and around the lashes. This is also good for applying and smudging liner. The bristles are soft but firm and dense. You can get this for just $5 at Target.

Review: NYX Ultra Pearl Mania

NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Eye Shadows.

Quality: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 4 out of 5
Price: $1
Where to buy: is cheapest

These were my very first pigments ever in life. I got the whole set on ebay for $25. There are 24 colors (some I swapped away, so there are only 22 here). These are $1 each at The quality of these are amazing. Lime is the only one that doesn't have fantastic pigment, but its a nice sheer green. All the others are very vibrant. What you see in the bottle is what you get on your face. The powder is very fine, all the colors are shimmery. It has very good lasting power and its easy to blend. The jars are really small but there is actually tons of product inside. The only con about these are that the opening is very small, so you need a tiny brush to get inside. Usually there is enough product in the lid that you don't have to worry about that. Or you can just transfere them to bigger jars. Other then that, these are fabulous.

On a side note, if you're into pressing pigments these won't work. Myself and several other people have tried with no success, they just fall apart.
